Boone here. 🐾 I’m really hoping today is the day someone looks at me and sees what a special boy I truly am. 🌅✨

I’m 5 years old, about 60 pounds of handsome hound mix, and right now, I’m spending my days in boarding. 🥺 Truth is, a kennel isn’t where a smart, loyal guy like me belongs. It can be pretty overwhelming, and what I really need is an experienced, patient human who understands that I just need a little time and space to decompress, feel safe, and settle in. 🛋️💛

Once you get to know me, you’ll see how much I love using my brain—and that classic hound nose of mine! 👃🌲 Scent walks, enrichment puzzles, training games, and working for my meals are right up my alley. I’m a sharp boy who loves to learn, and once I know I can trust you, I bond deep. I’ll become your most devoted, loyal shadow who wants nothing more than to be close to his favorite person. 🫂🐶

I do need someone who respects that real trust takes patience. I can be selective about other dogs, so we’d need to meet and make sure we’re the right fit first. 🐕 Cats and kiddos aren't a match for me, so a calm, adult-only home where I can soak up all the love and be your main man would be absolute heaven. 🏡🚫🐱

I have so much love and potential to give—I just need the right person to give me a chance to breathe, feel secure, and truly shine. 🌟

We’ll be at Chuck & Don’s on Saturday, September 12th from 12–3 PM at all three Wichita-area locations — East, West & Derby! 🎉🐶
Our boarding dogs Garbonzo, Fernando, and Jupiter will be there, and they’re all hoping to find a foster home or their forever family! ❤️

After raising TWELVE puppies (yes, twelve!) and being the most devoted mama, this beautiful 90-pound girl has officially weaned her babies and is ready for something she’s never truly had… A home of her own. Merry did an incredible job with her litter — patient, nurturing, and protective in all the right ways. Now it’s her turn. No more puppies to tend to. No more mama duties. She will never have to go through another litter again. From here on out, Merry gets to just… live. To rest. To be loved. To be someone’s baby instead of raising them. She’s a big girl with an even bigger heart, and we can’t wait to see her personality blossom now that she can focus on herself.

What we do know? She deserves comfort. Stability. A couch. A yard. A soft bed. And a family who sees her not just as “the mama dog” — but as Merry.

Together, you all raised both monetary donations and reward points to support our rescue pups. As you can see, the handsome Gunner is already eyeing the haul! Thanks to those customer points, we were able to stock up on high-quality treats and essential supplies for our boarding dogs.We are so lucky to have a community that steps up to keep tails wagging. This brainy boy is wicked smart. Like, “figures out the treat puzzle in 30 seconds and then teaches a class on it” smart. He knows his tricks, loves to learn new ones, and is always ready to show off for his favorite human. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who looks at you like, “What’s next, coach?” — Boone is your guy.

And true to his hound roots, Boone lives for his nose. Sniffing walks? Yes. Food puzzles? Absolutely. Scent games? Now we’re talking. If it involves following a trail or working for a snack, Boone is all in. Mental enrichment isn’t just fun for him — it’s his love language.

MEET CHIEF!!!
Otherwise known as the handsome guy with mesmerizing 👀eyes.
Chief is very shy at first but he’s also the sweetest, goofy guy once he gets to know you! It can take him a while to feel comfortable in new environments, so he will need a patient adopter to help him transition. When he was in his foster home he was playful with other dogs (big and small), loved to play with toys, chase balls, chew on a good bone, and have zoomies in the yard. He is also cat and kid friendly, although older kids (7 and up probably) would be best as he can get excitable at times and forget his size, and his strong tail wags can catch younger kids off guard.

He is potty-trained, kennel trained, has learned to use a dog door and go up and down stairs, and picking up on basic commands well. He has great manners overall, and is eager to please. Leash training is still a work in progress as he overcomes his fear of new places and becomes more walkable. Due to his timid ways, he needs a confident, friendly dog companion in the home to show him the ropes and a fenced in yard due to flight risk. When he is not busy playing, Chief enjoys snuggling close to his humans, and napping on a comfy bed or couch. He’s a good boy, looking for a forever home to call his!

Ace is the ultimate comeback kid, and now he’s ready to start his next chapter in a loving forever home! Rescued from the euthanasia list at the Wichita Animal Shelter due to kennel cough, Ace has overcome every obstacle, including heartworm treatment, and is now a healthy, happy pup looking for his perfect match.

Ace is a bundle of love and energy who’s always ready to party! He’s kennel-trained, knows his commands like sit, shake, and leave it, and is great with older kids and dogs. Ace LOVES his toys and might need a gentle reminder when playtime is over. While he’s a bit too curious about cats to share a home with them just yet, he’s a fantastic companion who’s affectionate, playful, and an all-around good boy.

He’s also independent enough to entertain himself, but if you’re looking for snuggles and unconditional love, Ace is your guy! Could this resilient and loving pup be the one for you?

🐾💛ADOPT Gary - Expert Squirrel Patrol 💛🐾
Gary came to Beauties after being found with an collar embedded after his neck. He spent eight weeks in vet boarding facilities prior to being brought temporarily into a foster home. He is now a foster home and looking for his forever home.

His foster is working with him on some undesirable behaviors like jumping and rough mouth play. He is quick to pick up on cues but sometimes has a hard time calming down if play gets too rough. He is very treat/food motivated and housebroken. He will chase treats into his kennel with a little coaxing but then is quiet once he's inside.

Gary absolutely loves tug with a rope and if his human doesn't have time to play he will entertain himself by throwing it up in the air and chasing it around. Gary also loves his naps in the sun, cuddles on the couch, and checking the fence to make sure no squirrels are threatening his castle. Gary is super sweet and is just looking for a home with strong human(s) that can continue to help him develop positive behaviors. In turn he promises to protect you, smother you with kisses, and cuddle you aggressively.
