Since our giraffe dog has been getting so much attention, let’s answer some questions about creative grooming! 🦒🎨
“Is that actually safe for dogs?!”
YES! We use professional pet-formulated color products from OPAWZ, NOT human hair dye. These products are specifically designed for creative grooming. Of course, even pet-formulated products can cause reactions, which is why proper product selection and application matter!
“Does the dog have to sit there for hours?!”
Creative grooming definitely takes time, but that doesn’t mean the dog is expected to stand perfectly still for hours! We work at the dog’s pace, allow breaks, and pay attention to their body language throughout the process.
“Does the dog even like being dyed?”
Dogs don’t care whether they’re a giraffe, a rainbow, or their natural color. 😂 What matters is how they feel during the process! Not every dog is a good candidate for creative grooming, and that’s okay. Comfort and temperament come before the design.
“How long does the color last?”
It depends! Coat type, shedding, bathing frequency, and the products used all play a role. Some colors fade within a few washes, while others can stick around for months!
“Isn’t this just for the owner’s entertainment?”
Sure! Just like putting a cute bandana on your dog or getting them a fun haircut. The difference is that creative grooming is an art form that requires knowledge of coat types, color theory, product safety, and handling skills. And when done appropriately, it can be a fun way to express a little personality!
At the end of the day, creative grooming should never come at the expense of a dog’s comfort or well-being. That’s a standard we won’t compromise on, whether we’re creating a giraffe or doing a regular haircut. 🤎
Now for the important question… what animal should we create NEXT?! 👀🐆🦓
