Pawsitive Training for Your Pet. We are fully insured, and all staff have passed BCA background check. We accept all breeds and sizes for our canine members.

Our team are experienced in hospice, senior care, oral medication administration, First Aid/CPR, injected medication administration, and special needs care for canines. We do require a meet and greet prior to providing care for your canine with one of our team. So, we can get to know each other. Whatever it takes to make your canine family member comfortable. It is all about making them the happiest pup. At Prestige Pets we understand how quirky our fur family members can be. We go above and beyond to make sure your pets are in the best hands possible, are cared for like they are part of our family.

Today, Prestige lost one of their own. 💔🌈🐾

Finnegan passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his daddy, surrounded by the love that meant the most to him.

Although Finn was small, he was mighty in personality and mighty in life. He had a way of making his presence known, and he leaves behind a paw print that will never be forgotten.

At 19 years old, Finn lived an incredible, long life filled with love, memories, and a family who adored him. I know he will be missed more than words can ever express—especially by his daddy, who loved him so deeply and was there to hold him through his final moments.

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories we all share and in the incredible life Finn leaves behind for his brothers and sister. His love will continue to live on through them and through everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

And now, sweet Finn, you can run free. 🌈
No more pain, no more growing old—just endless sunshine, soft grass, and all the room in the world to be that mighty little personality we loved so much.

Rest easy, Finn. ❤️

Your love will always shine through your family, and you will forever be a part of the Prestige family.

Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾❤️

🥇🐾 WE WENT GOLD… TWICE! 🐾🥇

Last year, Prestige Pets was incredibly proud to bring home SILVER. This year, we set our sights a little higher — and we did it!

We are officially the 2026 CommunityVotes Rochester GOLD Winner in BOTH Pet Training AND Kennels! 🥇🥇

This means more to us than I can put into words. We’re a small-town, family-owned business from Hayfield competing against some pretty tough competition throughout Rochester and the surrounding communities. To come out GOLD in both categories is something we are incredibly proud of.

Prestige Pets has been built with a whole lot of hard work, long days, very few days off, and most importantly, a genuine love for the dogs entrusted to us. ❤️🐾

But these awards aren’t just ours. Our clients made this happen! Every vote, referral, recommendation, share, and every family who trusts us with their dogs has helped build Prestige Pets into what it is today.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Josh’s dad, Bruce.

Over the next week, our family will be taking some much-needed time away from Prestige to grieve, spend time together, and celebrate Bruce’s life.

Prestige Pets will be closed for all daycare and training services for the next week. Boarding services will continue as scheduled, and all dogs currently in our care will continue to receive the same love and care they always do.

We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, kind words, and support during this difficult time. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a caring Prestige family surrounding us.

We will return to our normal schedule after this time away and will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Thank you for giving our family this time to remember and honor Bruce. ❤️

Tomorrow our beautiful Freyja heads home. ❤️🐾

After spending about two months with us, it’s definitely going to be bittersweet to see her go. We are so incredibly proud of this girl and everything she has accomplished, and I can’t wait to see how she does back home with Dad and Momma!

Freyja has worked hard on so many skills during her time with us — retrieval work, advanced manners, impulse control, obedience, targeting skills, and so much more.

But training shouldn’t be all work, so we made sure she learned how to have some fun too! 🥰 She learned to catch a frisbee, swim, confidently navigate unbalanced surfaces, jump through objects, and tackle all kinds of new experiences.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that Freyja is now taking all of her German commands not only from us, but from our grandsons too. And somewhere along the way, those boys became HER boys. 😂❤️ If Freyja gets a choice these days, that’s exactly who she wants to be with!

Watching her confidence, skills, and relationship with people grow over these past two months has been pretty amazing.

Tomorrow she gets to take everything she’s learned home and begin the next chapter with her family. We’re going to miss this beautiful girl more than we can say, but we couldn’t be more proud of her.

Way to go, Freyja! Now go show Momma and Dad everything you’ve learned! 🐕❤️🐾
