ATTN ALL CLIENTS AND NEW CLIENTS:

Good morning everyone! We have some news and big changes coming soon!
As most of you know we have been working on getting the boarding department going for quite some time now. But unfortunately it has been a bit of a battle with the city of Hayden due to a zoning change. When we very first made the decision to expand into the new facility, we were informed that the area would allow boarding by a member of the city of Hayden . We then found out after move-in that that was not the case without a zoning change. This was detrimental to the company. However we did not let it stop us and continued business with the hopes that this would change eventually later on down the road and continued to provide grooming, training and daycare services to all of our clients. Unfortunately those days turned into months and months turned into years and now they have informed us it would take another six months before we could have boarding and that is not a definitive yes from the city after their six month period. We would have to go before two city councils and petition to have the zoning changed.
Because of these reasons, we have decided to start looking into other facilities in a properly zoned area for boarding. Although we love this beautiful facility and it has served us well these past several years, it does not make sense to stay in such a large facility without being able to do the boarding here. We are likely going to stay in the Hayden area and continue to provide services here. We are also looking into potentially opening a second location as well. 
We will be keeping you informed via Facebook and also reaching out to everyone on our client list to let them know if we move to a new facility and when we move. Please do not be alarmed if you see real estate signs out front of the building we are not closing our doors. We are just moving them. ❤️ We appreciate your continued loyalty and business ❤️ stay tuned 🐶🐱🐾

Today was full of wiggle worms. They wiggled while being groomed, they wiggled during pictures. So this was as good as it got lol. They still turned out great and I got the best cuddles and kisses from the cutest poodle puppy Joker.

This is why it’s so important to be able to use a high velocity dryer on certain breeds that requiring trimming (think poodles, doodles etc). Drying the coat to straighten it gives a much cleaner cut when the hair is uniform. When we have to kennel dry with a fan because the dog will not tolerate the dryer, it doesn’t straighten the coat and the cut is not as smooth.

If you get a pup that’s going to require grooming every 6-8 weeks for the rest of its life, please get it use to a blow dryer at home as soon as possible. It desensitizes your baby, and makes grooming so much easier for him/her as well as for me.
