Meet Yumi, an 89-pound Saint Bernard with a big personality, a loyal heart, and plenty of goofy charm.
Yumi can take some time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she is affectionate, loyal, and happy to become your oversized shadow. She especially tends to bond more quickly with women and loves spending time with the people she knows best.
She is smart, knows commands like sit, give paw, and hug, and still gets plenty of zoomies when the mood strikes. Yumi also enjoys spending time with some other dogs, though she can be selective and will need thoughtful introductions.
Yumi is looking for an experienced home with someone who understands large breeds, respects her boundaries, and is willing to continue her training and socialization. She is not a good fit for a home with cats.
For the right person, Yumi has all the makings of a loyal, affectionate best friend who will keep you company, make you laugh, and happily soak up attention.
