Today's Fun Dog Facts

• Super Smell: A dog's sense of smell is up to 100,000 to 1,000,000 times better than a human's, containing up to 300 million olfactory receptors.

• Wet Noses: Their noses stay wet because a special mucus helps absorb scent chemicals. They then lick their noses to taste and understand the smell.

• Dream Catchers: Dogs experience REM sleep just like humans and twitch or run in their sleep because they are dreaming about their day.

• Paw Preference: Just like people are left- or right-handed, studies show that dogs have a dominant left or right paw.

• Not Color Blind: Dogs can actually see colors like blue and yellow, though they cannot see red and green.

I have openings Monday and Tuesday! Call or text 406-208-8827 to grab a spot in my schedule!
