In true Western Nebraska fashion, we had a wonderful spring day yesterday and tonight it’s snowing and extremely windy. It very much feels like winter again. Of course, our last doe to kid decided tonight was the perfect time! After spending several hours in the barn with her (with more layers than I’m willing to admit), Royal had 2 beautiful doelings. We are officially done with the 2022 kidding season!

Sweet little Bell Starr (owned by our 8-year-old) had these absolutely beautiful twins on Tuesday. She had one buckling (he has less white on him) and one doeling (she has a ton of white and moonspots). I can’t stop looking at them, they are gorgeous! They also are getting lots of cuddles (especially from our 8 year old).

On Wednesday, our sweet Bluey (Blueberry Chip) had triplets. Unfortunately, the boy didn’t survive but we are left with these 2 absolutely beautiful black girls. One of them has white patches on her and the other seems to be solid black. They love to be cuddled and Bluey is a wonderful mom!
