Kathleen is one of the dedicated pet sitters who makes Woofie’s clients' days easier and their pets' days brighter. Her mornings start early, and from there she's off visiting pup after pup, making sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and love they need while their family is away.

Short answer, YES. Especially those with light-colored fur, thin coats, or exposed skin.

☀️ Areas most at risk: Nose, ears, belly.
☀️ Pet-safe sunscreen: Look for SPF 30+, zinc oxide-free, and fragrance-free formulas
☀️ Limit outdoor time during peak sun hours: 10am - 2pm.
☀️ Consider alternatives: Sun shirts, doggy goggles, or proper grooming that keeps them cool while protected.
☀️ Treatment: Aloe vera for mild sunburn
