Here are a few reasons we highly recommend delayed spay and neuter in dachshunds! Best to wait until at least 12-18 months before taking away the important hormones needed for them to fully mature.

Editing to add: Delayed spay and neuter does not mean your dog will not develop these issues. It CAN help REDUCE the likelihood of your dog developing these issues.

We had the neatest marked litter I’ve had thus far! They’re all so different and unique! These are all BOYS and coat type will be determined in about 10 days.💙

Hi friends, I decided I needed to introduce myself again since we have new friends that have liked and followed Little e Dachshunds!! I’m Cequin Johnson, the heart behind our dachshund family.

Some things about me is that I am a wife and boy mom which im most proud of! When I’m not home with all the boys and pups I’m at work as a nurse. We love to go and travel especially during the summer time going to rodeos and water parks. We love family time and try and take up every opportunity to spend time with all of friends and different sides of our families!🫶🏻

I’m so excited for 2026, I will try and be better about posting and documenting more of the puppies and our adults this year. ❤️
