📋 The results are in — Montana's annual NASS wheat and barley variety survey is complete for 2026.

The survey, funded by the Montana Wheat & Barley Committee, is one of the most important data points of the year for MSU plant breeders and grain buyers alike. It shows which varieties Montana producers are actually planting, how those varieties are performing across the state, and where the breeding program should focus its efforts going forward. 🌾🔬

For buyers, it's a window into what's coming out of Montana fields. For breeders, it's a report card and a roadmap at the same time. 📊

General Laborer/Mill Operator

🔵Starting wage DOE
🔵Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
🔵Will be working outside in all types of weather, using grain augers to load trucks, operating forklifts and interacting with customers.
🔵Agriculture background is helpful but not required. Willing to train the right person to become a Mill Operator.
🔵40 hours a week and some seasonal overtime will be required.
3-month probationary period.
🔵Current driver’s license required.
🔵Benefits offered. Drug testing is required prior to employment and randomly from there on.
