Meet Maya and Josie!

They are both sweet girls that have adjusted really well to cafe life. They get along great with other cats and especially great with each other (you know, in case you can’t decide on which to adopt 😉).
They are spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a meet and greet! Send us a message to schedule some cat lounge time.

Meet Dandy!
He is one of the newest additions to the upstairs.
Dandy is the #1 biscuit maker in Mississippi. He is playful, cuddly, and so curious.
He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

We need help.
Like really bad.

Kitten season has been rough. Upper respiratory, coccidia, and just general medical needs have exhausted all of our funds. When a big situation gets posted like the abandoned cats, funds roll in. Then they come to a stop. But the need keeps coming. A cat going in for a follow up turns into a $200 bill. The seemingly healthy kitten crashes out of nowhere and it is $300 to humanely let them go after hours. Of course vet care comes with rescue but it has been thousands more than expected. We have used personal funds and resorted to credit cards to keep afloat. Personal bills have gotten behind just to keep the lights on.

We currently have 15 healthy, adoptable cats upstairs at the cafe. But then there’s 38 sick cats and kittens downstairs. We need funds, supplies, fosters. We need rescues that can take some sick kittens, adopters for our healthy babies that are ready to start their new lives.

*And as a sidenote from myself (Jessica), I’ve had so much going on personally that Katy got all this dumped on her. We started taking in kittens because we were easily finding them rescues since it was small things that they needed to be healthy. Transports stopped, rescues became full. Then it seems like everyone I know was slammed with kitty sickness far beyond what rescue normally sees. Katy is more than just someone that I rescue with. She has become a very close friend that I can call up for the most random things and she’s there to listen. This is her dream and I would hate for myself to have any part in crushing that.

Meet April.
Someone threw her out of their car door on Easter Day and of course we had to scoop her up.

April is a ball of energy. She is playful and goofy and loves to be all up in your hair and face. She usually ends up with my foundation all over her (see photo 3😂)
She is spayed, up to date on shots, and ready for her new home! She is great with kids and other cats.
