Some dogs don’t warm up right away and that’s okay.
Frankie was super unsure at first. Kept his distance, didn’t want to be touched, just trying to figure us out. So we slowed everything down and met him exactly where he was.
What ended up changing everything was play. A simple game of fetch gave him something familiar, something safe, and a way to build confidence without pressure.
Now he’s more relaxed, more curious, and starting to come out of his shell on his own terms.
