Heads up, dog park friends! The water spigot will be turned off on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, as temperatures drop near freezing in the evenings. It’ll stay off for the winter and be back on in Spring 2026.

Remember to bring your furry friends water with for your visit.

🌞 Beautiful weather—sunny and in the 70s!

A paw-some FREE evening of fun for dogs and their humans!

🎉 What’s Happening:
🐶 20+ activity stations – each with giveaways!
👑 Strut Your Mutt Costume Contest – Dress up your dog and strut for a chance to win a prize basket
🌭 Dinner by The 437 Food Truck – serving up all things ‘dogs’:
→ Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Brats, Chips & Queso! Picnic table seating outside the dog park.
📸 Balloon Arch Photo Op Station – Snap the paw-fect pic with your dog under a colorful balloon arch

The Hastings Rivertown Dog Park will be closed on Friday, June 7th 6:00 AM through Saturday, June 8th at Noon.

The Parking lot will be seal coated and lines refreshed.

🐾 Let's all do our part to keep our city clean and our water safe! Whether you're in the park, on a trail, or on your private property, please remember to clean up after your furry friends. Dog waste contains harmful bacteria that can end up in rivers and lakes making our water unsafe to drink or play in. It's a City Ordinance requirement to dispose of it properly in the trash.
