This sweet girl has spent almost 2 years of her life at the shelter. She’s been waiting so patiently for her forever family to find her. ❤️

She’s the ultimate couch potato who loves cozy blankets, tasty treats, and laying next to you, gnawing on a bone while you watch your favorite TV show. 🛋️🦴

She’d do best as the only pet in the home and with older kids.

Could you be the family she’s been waiting for? Stop in to meet her!! 🐾❤️

Today is World Rabies Day, when prevention is key. The best defense against Rabies, is to have your animal vaccinated. Rabies can be hard to spot in any species, because early signs are often non-specific. In dogs and cats, a subtle change in behaviour can progress to a furious form, with aggression and restlessness, or a paralytic form, with difficulty swallowing and progressive paralysis. In horses, rabies is uncommon and can resemble colic, lameness or other neurological disease.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR CLIENTS:

We wanted to let our clients know that due to an unexpected family medical situation requiring urgent surgery for Dr. Tim and Dr. Amy Hicswa's son, our schedule will look a little different over the next couple of weeks.

This will affect both our large and small animal appointments. We are fortunate to have relief veterinarians stepping in to help us continue providing care for your animals during this time. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these temporary scheduling changes. Our team will do everything we can to accommodate your pets' needs while allowing Dr. Tim and Dr. Amy to focus on, the most important thing, family.

Thank you for your continued support, flexibility and understanding. We are incredibly grateful for our wonderful clients and community.
