25 years ago our country suffered an immense tragedy. We will never forget!

"Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts. The victims were in airplanes, or in their offices; secretaries, businessmen and women, military and federal workers; moms and dads, friends and neighbors. Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror....This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time. None of us will ever forget this day. Yet, we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world."

📋 USDA Enrichment Program Update 🐶

The USDA requires animals to receive enrichment throughout the day to promote positive mental well-being.

As you can see, we’ve taken that requirement very seriously by introducing one Golden Retriever into the receptionist’s workspace. 🐕❤️

The results have been outstanding:
✔️ Increased smiles
✔️ More tail wags
✔️ Higher employee morale
✔️ A 100% increase in “Who’s a good dog?” comments

We call this a positive experience… and frankly, we think every receptionist should come standard with a Golden Retriever. 😄

As you celebrate with family and friends, don’t forget that fireworks can be frightening—and even dangerous—for our furry family members.

🐶 Firework Safety Tips:
• Keep pets indoors in a secure, quiet room.
• Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date.
• Never bring pets to fireworks displays.
• Play calming music or white noise to help mask the sounds.
• Keep treats, toys, and familiar bedding nearby for comfort.

💊 If your pet experiences anxiety during fireworks and may need a sedative, please call us before the holiday so we can discuss the best option for them. Don’t wait until the fireworks have already started!

📅 Please note: Haslet Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
