❤️Bluey!
Bluey’s story is one of the most remarkable in canine history.
Born in 1910 in Victoria, Australia, Bluey was an Australian cattle dog who spent nearly three decades working alongside farmers, herding sheep and cattle. His active lifestyle and consistent purpose are often cited as reasons for his extraordinary longevity. Bluey lived to 29 years and 5 months, finally passing away in 1939.
His lifespan shattered expectations for dogs, whose average lives are typically 10 to 15 years. To this day, Bluey’s record remains one of the longest confirmed lifespans for any dog and is recognized by Guinness World Records. His life continues to be used as an example of how environment, activity, and routine can push the boundaries of aging in working animals.
