We are having a lot of questions about how often we’ll have sorting practices and it’s my bad for not putting a date on the flyer! This will be the only one for October. We will try to get pens set up for a November one 🤞 buts it’s a lot of prep work and we have a lot of irons in the fire!! So don’t miss this one tonight!!

A few updates and reminders for everyone coming out to Double J Equine tonight!

🚛 TRAILER PARKING: Our normal trailer parking area is on high ground, but we also have plenty of gravel parking available if you’re more comfortable parking there!

🌱 PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE GRASS! If you park on the gravel, please keep your horses tied in the gravel area as well! Please do not tie horses in the nice grass. It creates bald spots and holes that make mowing difficult. We appreciate everyone helping us keep the grounds looking nice!

🐴 ARENA ENTRY: Please enter the arena from the WEST SIDE!

🤠 TRUE GRIT EQUINE: Avery with True Grit Equine will be on-site tonight if anyone needs anything!

🐮 UPDATED COW HOURS: 4 PM – 8 PM!

We’ve moved our cow hours up a little! With the cooler weather today, we wanted to give everyone plenty of time to work their horses and still have a chance to get home before it gets too dark!

We can’t wait to see everyone tonight! Come out, work some cows, and have a great time! 🤩🐮

PLAY DAY #3 — TODAY! 🐴

We can’t wait to see everyone back for our third Play Day of the series today! A few important reminders before everyone arrives:

🚫 PLEASE KEEP HORSES OUT OF THE BARN ALLEYWAYS
No outside horses are permitted in the barn alleyways, including during sign-up. These areas need to stay clear for spectators, especially the young kids and babies walking through. Please leave all of our equine friends outside—no matter how small and cute they are! 😍

🚛 TRAILER PARKING
Please park in the designated trailer parking area and pick up after your horses before leaving.

🐎 PROPER TACK REQUIRED
Proper tack is required for all riders. No ba****ck riding will be permitted during events. This is a requirement for liability and insurance purposes.

⚠️ RUN-IN PENS MUST STAY CLEAR!
The back run-in pens must remain clear for horses entering and exiting the arena.

ONE person may help you get your horse in and out of the arena. Otherwise, the pen must remain empty and available for the rider currently running.

Lead-line participants are the exception! You may have as many adults as needed to help your kiddos enter and exit safely.
