Tangled Tails is a full service pet salon offering all the basics as well as many spa specials such as mud baths, blueberry facials, pawdicures, hair dying, and much more!

🐾 Meet Lee! 🐾

Many of you have met my husband, Lee, over the years, but I wanted to officially introduce him to those who may not know him.

Lee has been bathing dogs for Tangled Tails for over 15 years! While he previously helped mainly on Saturdays due to his job at Redstone Arsenal, he is now working with me full-time in the salon.

As Tangled Tails has grown, the demands of running the salon have grown as well. Between grooming, answering messages, scheduling appointments, checking dogs in and out, processing payments, and helping clients, it has become difficult for one person to handle everything while still providing the quality care your pets deserve.

Going forward, you may see Lee helping with check-ins, check-outs, bathing, drying, and other salon tasks. Please don't be alarmed if he greets you at the door or helps with your appointment. He is not a new groomer—he's been an important part of Tangled Tails behind the scenes for many years!

I also wanted to share a little insight into how our day works. We currently have one groomer (me), and I am often working on multiple dogs throughout the day. Every day is different—some days I may have six small dogs, while other days may include several large or more challenging grooms. Because of this, completion times can vary from day to day.

Please know that I am always working as efficiently and safely as possible, but I am caring for more than one dog at a time. My goal is quality and safety, not rushing through your pet's groom.

After many years of working straight through the day without stopping, I've realized that taking a short 15-minute break helps me stay healthy, focused, and able to provide the best care for your pets. To make that possible, I ask that any walk-in nail trims arrive no later than 11:00 AM, as all scheduled drop-offs are completed by that time.

Starting in June, Tangled Tails will begin morning drop offs EARLIER at 7:30am! 🐾

⏰ Morning Drop Off Window:
7:30am – 9:00am

If you are hoping to have your pup finished earlier in the day, arriving EARLY is very important. Dogs arriving closer to 8am or later will likely not be first in line for grooming. I often have clients arrive later asking for their dog first, but grooming order is based largely on arrival time. 🐶💕

I will also begin opening the doors a few minutes before 7:30am so I can get started working as soon as the first pup arrives!

🚶‍♀️ Quick Reminder:
Please take a few minutes to walk your pet in our pet relief area before coming inside. This helps tremendously in cutting down on accidents in the salon and keeps the space cleaner and more comfortable for everyone.
