🎉 We've officially settled on a new date! 🎉

Mark your calendars for 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝟭𝟵–𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳! 🗓️

Rest assured that all fees and rules will remain the same—although we may have a class or two up our sleeves. 😉

A quick reminder: We will be using youth ages as of January 1, 2026 for eligibility.

It will take us a day or two to get everything updated, including the flyers and new entry link. Our co-producer and resident SaddleBook wizard, Jacob, also has a full-time job and helps produce several other events, so please give him a little grace while he works his magic. We're incredibly thankful for everything he does!

We are beyond excited and can't wait to see everyone in March!

EDIT: We have taken into consideration all shows, and have decided to move the 3rd Annual YBB to 2027!

The fall is a busy time for producers, and there are several shows in our area in September, and this just felt like the best and fair move!

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘:

🔸️️ First and foremost, all 'scratches' and refunds have been processed via Saddlebook – you should have recieved emails from them durring this process, and we thank you all for your patience. ❤️

Next, we need your opinions... again.

Amber with Double J has been working so hard with us and is being so wonderful and accommodating trying to help us ensure we have a date that won't step on the toes of other producers, and make as many as we can happy.

The only date remaining at Double J for 2026 is September 11-13. The only "issue" with that date is state for GA NBHA is the following week/end. It isn't a problem within it's self, but it could damper entries from our amazing GA kiddos, and we want everyone to be able to attend that wants too.

With that being said – there ARE several dates available in 2027. IF we decided to move it up to 2027, we would run the show as if it was still 2026 since it would just be rescheduled – it would remain the 3rd annual YBB.

The Youth Pass winner will still be able to redeem their free entires as well.

NOTE: Prizes will still read "2026 YBB" as they have already been purchased/recieved.

One advantage to moving to 2027 is the incentives we applied for this year, we can get in for the 2027 calendar year as we missed the cutoff for applications this year (oops).

We are leaving this in the hands of the contestants and their familes.

You spoke, and we listened!

With so many of you 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 from Youth World, the heat, and concern about sick horses at YW, we have decided to take your advice and reschedule the show for later this year.

The show 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 take place in a month or two – fall is our goal, but please give us the weekend to hash out the new date. We have to get with the arena on availability and check with other producers in the area to ensure no toes are stepped on when choosing the new date.

*𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘎𝘈 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘊 𝘕𝘉𝘏𝘈 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴.

The only thing about the show that will change is the date. Everything else will remain the same. We are going to keep the same SB link, and just modify dates as we announce them.

At Youth Barrel Battle, we've always believed our sport is about more than competition. It's about family, community, and lifting one another up.

This year, we are honored to host a 50/50 raffle benefiting Smile Like Hadleigh.

Hadleigh Claire Lee was a gymnast, an equestrian, a daughter, a friend, and a bright light to everyone who knew her. She loved horses, chased her dreams with determination, and was the center of her parents' world. Two years go, tragically, on her birthday, Hadleigh's life was taken by an impaired driver, leaving behind a family and community forever changed.

As horse people, we understand how much passion, dedication, and love young people pour into the things they cherish. We know the early mornings, the long drives, the arena dirt, the hopes and dreams carried by every child who swings a leg over a horse. Hadleigh embodied so much of that spirit.

While no fundraiser can erase such a tremendous loss, we hope to honor Hadleigh's memory by supporting the incredible work of Smile Like Hadleigh. Through education, advocacy, and awareness, the organization works to highlight the devastating consequences of impaired driving and help prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak.
