From fighting for her life… to absolutely THRIVING.

Our sweet Trunklette has officially finished all 3 months of her FIP treatment and is now almost finished with her post-treatment observation period! And this little girl isn't just doing well—she is absolutely BLOSSOMING. 🥹

Her foster mom says she has never seen a kitten come out of her shell quite like Trunklette has. This girl is a certified LOVE BOMB. 💕 She wants affection, she wants cuddles, she wants to play, and she has a whole lot of lost kittenhood to make up for!

It's hard to believe this is the same tiny kitten who came to us after being hit by a car with blood pouring from her ear, severe head trauma, and blood pooling inside her eye. The same kitten who walked in circles and stumbled. The same kitten whose blood sugar crashed so dangerously low that we nearly lost her. The same kitten who eventually stopped eating entirely before FIP treatment became our last hope.

And look at her now.

She's happy. She's healthy. She's playful. She's ridiculously loving.

And very soon… Trunklette will be looking for her FOREVER HOME! 🏡🖤

After everything this girl has fought through, we cannot wait for the day we get to announce that she has a family of her very own.

Thank you to her incredible foster mom, our veterinary team, and every single person who donated, prayed, shared, and cheered this little girl on.

You helped give Trunklette the chance to grow up. Now she's finally getting to enjoy it. 🖤🐾

💛🐾 8 Kittens Update: They Made It Through! 🐾💛

We have some WONDERFUL news about our eight tiny abandoned-house babies!

After what was undoubtedly the roughest week of their little lives, all EIGHT kittens are still with us—and they are feeling SO much better! 🥹❤️

When they arrived, these babies were cold, starving, suffering from terrible diarrhea, barely eating, and some were even vomiting. We knew we had a tough road ahead.

But thanks to lots of supportive care, good food, medication, and an incredibly dedicated foster home, they are finally on the mend!

Their poops are becoming more solid (something we are VERY excited about around here 😂💩), their appetites are improving, and their days are getting a little brighter.

They still have some growing and recovering to do, but seeing eight sick, miserable little kittens begin to feel good enough to eat, play, cuddle, and simply be kittens is the best update we could ask for. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared their story, and helped us get these babies through the hardest part. Eight little lives are brighter because of you! 🐾💕

Today is Rainbow Bridge Memorial Day.

It’s for the dog whose collar still hangs somewhere in the house.

The cat whose favorite sunny window doesn’t feel quite the same anymore.

The little scratches on the floor you never bothered to fix. The fur you once complained was everywhere that you’d give anything to find on your clothes again.

It’s for the empty bed. The unused leash. The food bowl that was eventually put away. The name you still accidentally call when another pet does something they used to do.

And it’s for every beloved animal— big, small, furry, feathered, scaled, or otherwise— who became such an enormous part of our lives. ❤️

They never knew how much time they had with us. They simply knew that we were theirs.

They knew our voices. Our routines. The sound of us coming home. They knew where the best sleeping spots were and exactly how to convince us to share a snack.

And most importantly, they knew they were loved.

For those of us in rescue, there are names on our hearts that never belonged to animals who were technically “ours.” Some stayed for years. Some for months. Some only long enough to learn that hands could be gentle and that being held could mean safety. We remember them, too.

🌈🐾 So today, tell us about yours.

Share a photo in the comments. Say their name. Tell us the silly thing they did, the nickname nobody else understood, or the memory that still makes you smile.

Because perhaps one of the most beautiful ways we can honor the animals we have lost is simply to keep telling their stories.

They were here.

They are always loved.

And they mattered. ❤️

🚨💔 8 TINY KITTENS. COLD. STARVING. ALONE. 💔🚨

These eight babies are only around 4 weeks old, and they desperately need our help.

They were discovered huddled together inside an abandoned house—cold, hungry, and with no mother in sight. Their finders waited for hours, hoping Momma Cat would return, but there were no other cats around.

At this age, leaving them meant risking starvation, dehydration, or becoming prey for local wildlife. So the decision was made to rescue all EIGHT. 🐾

They are now warm and safe in a loving foster home, but unfortunately, they are far from healthy.

All eight are suffering from severe, watery diarrhea and aren't eating well. Some are even vomiting. 😢 For kittens this tiny, they can become dangerously dehydrated and weak incredibly quickly.

These babies will need veterinary attention, medications, fluids, special food, and plenty of supportive care—and caring for eight sick kittens at once adds up fast.

❤️ Please donate if you can. Even $5 or $10 helps us provide the care these babies desperately need.

They survived being cold, hungry, and alone. Now we need to help them survive whatever is making them so sick.
