Meet Ryder, the Toy Poodle!

Ryder is an active alerting service dog for his mom, Tonya. Unfortunately, Tonya was recently diagnosed with colon cancer, and she will begin her treatments next week. ❤️

As a little way to show our love and support, Ryder received a free makeover today, including adorable ears in the awareness color for colon cancer. 💙 We are so thankful that we could do something special for Ryder and Tonya during this difficult time.

Please join us in sending prayers, positive thoughts, and good vibes Tonya’s way for an easy, successful treatment and a strong recovery. 🙏💙

Hey guys! Little announcement. ❤️

From the beginning, I basically turned my work phone into my personal phone. Everyone knew I was quicker to answer business calls and messages than anything else, lol.

But after years of growth, I’ve decided it’s finally time to separate work and personal. After adding up all the time spent after hours replying to every message, call, and email, I realized just how much of that time I’ve been taking away from my family. Not to mention the occasional 2 AM jump-scare call from someone wanting to get their dog in the very next day.

The girls have been learning how to schedule appointments and help answer calls and messages, so we’re making a few changes!

843-992-2163 will now be the designated Prim & Pawper phone.

Our hours will average Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, with alternating Saturdays. Remaining by appt only

Please reach out to the Prim & Pawper phone during those hours for scheduling, calls, messages, etc. I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding as we make this transition!

I’ll still be around, and I absolutely still welcome all the groomer TikToks, jokes, and random things y’all send me. 😂❤️

Thank you all for supporting me and Prim & Pawper through all these years of growth. I’m excited for this next chapter and, most importantly, a little more time with my family. 🐾

Over the past few years, I’ve been incredibly blessed by the support this community has shown my small business. Lately, I’ve been thinking about more ways I can give back.

Many of you know I already donate my time where I can. But I thought this might be a fun new way to give back. You all got me to where I am. I want to return the favor🫶🏻

Each month, I’ll be selecting one local dog to receive a completely FREE grooming makeover! 🐶✨

This isn’t about who “deserves” it the most—because everyone has a story. It’s simply about spreading a little kindness, one dog at a time. I can’t take full credit for the idea, Miss Bridgit ( you’ve more than likely seen her creative grooms) gave us the idea🫶🏻

Whether it’s a matted makeover, a creative grooming transformation, or simply a bath and tidy-up for someone who could use a helping hand, I’m excited to give back in a meaningful way. 🎨🛁

Hey guys! It’s Rachel! 😊

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that I’ll be out of the salon starting today (7/30) through August 9th visiting family.

The girls have everything covered while I’m away and will be holding down the fort! ❤️ If you have any questions about your appointment, please reach out through our scheduling software, and they’ll be happy to help.

I’ll still be checking in on calls and messages here and there, but I’ll mostly be spending this time with family. Thank you all for your patience, and I’ll see everyone when I get back! 🐾
