It’s hard to put into words just how much we are going to miss you. What started as a co-op position quickly turned into so much more. When we needed help, you stepped up without hesitation, and over the past four years you have become such an important part of our team and our daily lives.

Even while starting college and balancing so much, you continued giving your best to us. Over these past six months especially, you have practically run the entire front office, and you did it with grace, hard work, dedication, and a heart that truly cared for our clients and our staff.

Thank you for every extra hour, every problem solved, every smile, and every way you made this place better. Your work ethic and willingness to serve others never went unnoticed.

We are so proud of you and excited for everything ahead of you, but goodness… we surely are going to miss you around here. You have left a mark on this practice that won’t be forgotten.

Morgan Animal Hospital would like to officially welcome Dr. Anna (Mathis) Burks to our staff!

Anna has truly grown up in our practice. She began working in our kennel, worked her way up to veterinary assistant, and has now completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. We could not be more proud of all she has accomplished and are excited to see her step into this new role.

Dr. Burks will officially begin seeing patients on Monday, June 8, 2026. Please help us welcome her back home to the Morgan Animal Hospital family!

Izzy has also received her doctorate hat.
