Just friendly boarding reminders ;) :
*You can send a picture of vaccines and a picture of your pet (if new) to 256-612-7400 ahead of time so we can get your profile in our system all fixed and ready. We board cats and some times other animals too.
*During busy times/holidays, our lobby area can get full during drop off and pick up times. ((Which are 8-9 or 4-5)). If you see this, please have a seat on the porch or wait until you see there is room in the lobby. It makes for an easier process, easier to communicate, and the dogs can move freely as needed.
*We prefer closed containers for food if possible. Each dog has a bin, so anything too huge will not fit and can make things confusing if we have to sit them in the floor. Huge bags of open dog food also makes feeding time difficult if you can help and bring just what they need for the stay. We are very flexible and can do whatever, but it is helpful.
*Labeling food bins/belongings with name and instructions is a plus & greatly appreciated!
*We supply bowls and a cot. You are allowed to bring personal beds and toys if you desire. Just note, some pets will possibly chew or get them dirty. We do our best to keep the kennels as clean as possible every day. However, some do not always go outside in their run to potty and go inside of their kennel room area. And some go out in the run, but then walk in it right after. Then some walk all the way to the end and go in the same place and never get near it lol. All are different.
*We can give any medication needed during your pet's stay.
*You can call or text the kennel cell at anytime. We will notify you if it is indicated for whatever reason.
*The kennel room has central heating/cooling, ceiling fans, and we have industrial stationary fans if needed.
*The kennel room has a radio, it can help keep them more calm by being a white noise.
*The pets can go in and out of their kennel room and run as they please. If the weather is bad or indicated, we can temporarily close their doggy doors.
*You can get your pet groomed or bathed before going home if appointments are available (best to plan ahead of time).
*Fun fact- between drop off and pick up times, the dogs are generally pretty calm in the kennel area and stop barking.
**As always, thank you for your continued support and trusting us to take care of your babies!!**
