They arrived In our third group, between 2020 and 2021, Laila,a sweet Bulldog puppy, very playful and very strong pup, too; she also arrived a few times alongside her older brother, Napoleon.
Next came Milo, our adorable, grumpy Chihuahua. Milo is so tiny, yet he has a huge personality. Wherever he goes, he never goes unnoticed! Milo grew up alongside my grandson, and he was the only dog my grandson ever asked to take home to look after and pamper. They understand each other.
Then arrived our beautiful Luna. She arrived just like the moon, eclipsing everyone, for they all fell completely under her spell. My Max—who usually growled at everyone—was struck speechless the moment he saw her; it was love at first sight. From that moment on, he loved only her—and the sweetest part was that his feelings were reciprocated: Luna fell in love with Max, too. They are truly meant for each other, every time they meet.
Soon after, Roxie and Ziggy arrived—Ziggy, an adorable, huggable puppy who knows nothing but how to give love. This, too, was a case of mutual love at first sight. I adore this dog because, although I always receive affection from every dog I care for, there was one time when I took a fall and lay on the floor in pain for a while; everyone else came over to sniff me to see if I was okay, but Ziggy was the only one who stayed lying right by my side until I was able to get back on my feet. He showed me just how loyal he can be. However, this also makes him very jealous and protective; he won't let anyone get close to me—neither other dogs or people—when we are out walking.
And little Roxie, who arrived before her brother, was my mother's pampered darling. Whenever Roxie came to visit while my mother was here with me, she would say, "I'll look after Roxie—my little princess," and she would take it upon herself to care exclusively for her.
And so, all the others keep arriving in the subsequent groups.
Just a reminder that a dog's life is so short that one day they are puppies, and the next, they grow old.
Here are some photos of them from when they first came into your lives, back when they were just puppies.🐾🥰
