Looking for a happy, adventurous, and resilient companion? Aspen is ready to find her forever family!
We’ve been fostering this sweet girl through Fluffy Dog Rescue, and she is absolutely thriving. Here is a little bit about what makes her so special:
• Dog-Park Approved: We took her to the dog park, and she did fantastic! She is social, friendly, and loves being around other pups.
• Surprise Swimmer: We recently learned she can swim! She accidentally stepped off a drop-off near the water and confidently, readily swam right back to shore like a pro.
• Health Update: At her recent vet visit, we discovered Aspen’s eyes don’t naturally produce tears. Don't worry, though—we’ve started her on a daily eye ointment, and it has already made a world of difference! She takes it like a champ, and her eyes are looking bright and beautiful.

More adventures for Aspen! We took her into the city with us and went to a dog friendly brewery to watch the Sox game. She did great with the people, other dogs and the cheering. Now she’s resting and getting ready to watch the Brewers game tonight! Fluffy Dog Wellness & Rescue

Aspen’s day out. She joined us for breakfast in our town’s downtown area and she did great. We ate outside and she found a cozy spot to lay down and waited politely while we ate. The people, kids, dogs and suburban sounds didn’t phase her. She did great. She’s available through Fluffy Dog rescue

🐾 Foster Update: Getting to Know Aspen! 🐾Aspen has been with us for a few days now, and she is proving to be such a wonderful, smart girl! We’ve learned so much about her routine, her personality, and how well she fits into a home.Here’s the latest on this sweet girl:

😴 Nighttime & Office Companion: She sleeps quietly in her crate all night long. During the day, she is the perfect coworker—she happily finds a dog bed and snoozes away while I work in my office.
🐕 Dog-Friendly & Playful: She has officially unlocked her playful side! She and our Goldendoodle, Mae, figured out how much they love running and chasing each other around. It is pure joy to watch. She’s also very respectful and knows to give our grumpy 16-year-old male dog plenty of space.
🏡 Free-Roaming Pro: While she prefers not to be crated when we leave the house, she does amazing when left loose with the other dogs. We’ve tested her up to 2 hours so far, and she has been perfectly well-behaved!
🎓 Quick Learner: She walks beautifully on a leash. She also conquered a full flight of stairs this week! She was very hesitant at first, so we think it was a brand-new concept for her, but she figured it out like a champ.
🚪 House Training: She is doing great and does almost all of her business outside. She did have one accident, but it was totally on me—I’m pretty sure she actually rang the door bell to go out, but I was stuck on a work call and couldn’t get to her in time!
🚫 One Little Quirk: She can be a bit of a counter surfer, so her future family will just need to keep snacks pushed back!
Aspen is adjusting beautifully and showing us what a loving, adaptable companion she really is. Stay tuned for more updates as she continues to blossom!
