Would anyone be interested in a Basic obedience class?

Class would be 1 day a week for 6 weeks. Inside my barn in Buckfield. 50$ per week or 250$ for all 6 weeks if paid upfront.
Only have room for 4 puppies.

We would be covering the basics. Sit, stay, lay down, maybe throw in a small trick, then we will cover greeting politely with the skills you've learned in class.
The 6th class will be a test of everything we've learned.
Class is for dogs up to 1 year old.

Let's talk hot spots!!! The rain of every double coated owner.
What causes them?
How do we treat them?
Can we prevent them?

The cause: When moisture gets under your pups fur and doesn't dry it starts the hot spot. This could be from playing in the rain, or a nice lake. The most common I see is from anxious chewing.

Treatment: The most important part of healing a Hotspot is giving it a dry environment. Sometimes shaving the area is required.
They sell lots of different treatments for Hotspot. I will say, make sure you get one that is a for hotspots specifically.

Prevention! Make sure your pup gets super dry after anytime they get wet. Out to potty in the rain? Dry them good!
If you notice them chewing a bunch a cone of shame may be required.

In the end Hotspot are just another sore our pups need us to tend for them. And best part is they'll love you for it ✨️🐾🐩
