Just want to take a moment to honor the ones we couldn’t save, no matter how much we tried.

The ones we never got to post about. The ones we cared for in silence. The ones who died in our hands. The lives that never stood a chance against this cruel world.

We may never understand how some people can be so heartless. How someone can disregard a life simply because they see it as inferior. How disconnected we have become from the natural world and from the lives we share this planet with.

It never gets easier.

Some days I’m angry. Some days I’m incredibly sad. And some days, I’m just tired.

Yesterday was hard. We lost another one that, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t save. And that hurts. It always does.

I wish we could do better as a whole. Because we all have a responsibility to this world and the lives in it.

If we could each just put in a little bit of effort, it would add up to something big.

Spay and neuter your pets. And if a stray starts showing up in your yard, please consider getting them spayed or neutered too. There is financial help available in many areas, and there are programs that can help make it possible.

You don’t have to save every animal. You don’t have to do everything. But if each of us is willing to do just a little, it can make a huge difference.

A little effort. A little compassion. A little willingness to care.

For the ones we saved. For the ones we couldn’t. And for all the tiny lives still waiting for someone to care. ❤️🐾

Not sure if you guys remember Archie, the kitty that fell out from under a car on the highway. Here he is now. He was determined to stay with us, so he will remain here. Our boys love him; they lost their dear kitty Muffin at the beginning of the year, so I think Archie came to soothe their hearts.

These sweet faces are the reason we do what we do. ❤️🐾

Every cat in this video has a safe place to sleep, food in their bowl, and people who care about them but, caring for over 20 rescued cats and kittens comes with daily expenses.

Sweet little Archie is currently being treated for an eye infection, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit! He’s still a playful, happy kitten with lots of spirit.

Along with Archie, we’re caring for 7 other kittens and 20 adult cats, all of whom depend on us for food, medical care, and daily necessities.

We could really use help with food donations and flea treatments. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps us continue caring for these precious cats. Thank you for supporting them! ❤️🐾

Meet Archie 🤍

Archie wasn’t a planned intake since we are already past full capacity, but when we saw him fall from a car on the highway, there was no way we could leave him behind. If we hadn’t noticed him in time, he likely would have been run over.

Thankfully, he’s now safe with us.
