🐾 29 ferrets are on their way to freedom! 🐾

The Ferret Association is transporting 29 ferrets from the Manitoba (Canada) Ferret Association to our office in Hartford, CT.

This transport includes 13 young males and 16 females who are 3 years old. We’ve committed to covering the cost of all spays, neuters, and shots for this group – and we could use your help!

🏡 Interested in adopting?

Yes! These ferrets will be available for adoption.

The girls should be ready in mid-September, although they may be frightened and a little bitey when they arrive (though we have heard rumors that some are pretty sweet already!).

The males will NOT be adopted out until they are neutered. They cannot be neutered until they are sexually mature, and that timing is controlled by Mother Nature.

Potential adopters should have an adult-only, ferret-experienced, stable home to offer.

Some of the ferrets will be going to Washington Metro Area Ferret Outreach in Maryland (https://www.facebook.com/WMAFO), but most will remain in Hartford. You must be able to travel to Hartford to adopt.

The Ferret Association is announcing the upcoming transport of 29 ferrets from the Manitoba (Canada) Ferret Association to our office in Hartford, CT.

This group will consist of 13 young males and 16 3 year old females. We have committed to pay for all spays/neuters/shots.
