Our sweet, wonderful caring and kind Jackie, lost her little Lola on Tuesday.❤️

It was not expected and very sudden. At 13 years old, she was still a sassy little min pin/Chihuahua. Jackie s family grew up with little Lola, and one of her kids doesn't even know a life without her being around. ❤️

Lola was definitely Jackie's heart dog. Always sleeping with her, or stealing things to store in her "cubby." She was an intrigual part of the beginning of our new Happy Tails as well, being our small dog daycare tester ❤️

Please say some prayers for the Chase family while they grieve this terrible loss of their sweet ole girl. ❤️

Personal update!

As many of our clients know, I, (Jessica), had an injury 11 weeks ago. Today, I found out that my surgery date is September 16th.

As a staff, we are reconfiguring all of my personal clients.

I may reach out to some clients individually over the next few days, but there are some I may not. I trust my team with the care they provide for ALL of our dogs, and have no worries my personal clients will continue to get the same compassion, love and caring that I provide for them while I am gone.

If we do not reach out to you by Friday of next week, this means we decided that your dog/dogs, will be comfortable with our other staff members.

Remember, this is only temporary!

I really appreciate all of the love and support everyone has offered me during this time. ❤️

We are currently looking to add a part time bather to our staff! If you love animals and don't mind getting hairy and soaked, this is the job for you🤣🤣

Must be a self starter, team player and be able to work flexible hours and over 18 with reliable transportation. This job also requires a lot of PATIENCE!

We are also searching for the right candidate that would be interested in becoming a groomer eventually. There are many options for online grooming training, and finish training with us for the hands on portion.

Please stop in to chat or give us a call at 231.873.8245

Did you know we also provide private doggy daycare?!?

Do you plan on spending the day on the dunes? Heading to Lewis Farms for the day? Maybe you are having some construction done at home, or your house cleaner is coming for the day, we got you covered! Unlike our pack doggy daycare, our private daycare has less hoops to jump through! If your dog isn't too keen on being with other dogs, or you don't have the time to do the evaluation process, our private daycare is set up for just that! We have multiple large floor pens in our kennel area, that can be connected for even larger sizes. They would alternate from the large floor pens to our outdoor fenced in area multiple times during the day. Our staff members would take them outside privately so they can stretch their legs.

Think of us as your dogs "babysitters" while you have to head out of town for the day, or have company coming over! We also offer walks for them on the bike trail for an extra cost.

Give us a call at 231.873.8245!
