Tybee and Debbie are our longest Sunday class regulars! They've been attending almost Every. Single. Week. For the last 6 years..... They are the definition of dedication. Debbie's commitment to her dog is more than admirable. We have shared many laughs and tears together over the years. This is why we do what we do. So people don't have to get rid of their dogs and they can actually enjoy their dog and learn how to move together. We love having them come out, our group wouldn't even feel right if they weren't there. Debbie also brings her family out, the grandkids, other family dogs, and they have become a big part of our community. Thank you for sharing your story with us Debbie, and thank you for being apart of our Harrisville Working Dogs family 🖤🐾🖤🐾🖤

Happy birthday Randy Hare !!!!

🎉🐾 HAPPY 70th BIRTHDAY to the one and only Randy Hare! 🐾🎉

Today we celebrate not only an incredible husband, father, friend, mentor, and dog trainer… but a man whose heart, passion, and dedication have changed the lives of so many people and dogs over the years. 💙

Through every lesson taught, every family helped, every K-9 trained, and every friendship made, Randy has continued to pour his heart into what he loves most — helping others while doing what God called him to do. His love for dogs, his loyalty to family and friends, and his unwavering faith and strength are truly something special.

Anyone who knows Randy knows his smile, his humor, his knowledge, and his genuine love for people and animals make him one of a kind. We are beyond blessed to celebrate this milestone birthday with him today! 🙏🐶

It's that time of year! If your out and about with your dogs, please make sure you have something to keep them cool! We've been using Phantom Fabrication 's fans for a few years now, they work amazing! It's another great tool to add to your summer set up! They also make custom crates, Kennel runs, stands and frames to organize your existing crates, basically anything you can dream up! This is a company we love and trust!!!

We are hosting a pet CPR and first aid class! Kristy Hahn is a fantastic groomer in the area, and we've hosted her before!

When: Sunday June 14th @ 10am
Where: Harrisville Working Dogs

$45 per person deposit, $45 remainder due day of class. It is non refundable or transferable to a different day.

Class is 4-5 hours long

Meet Tequila! Tequila is a board and train client from a few years ago. She continued regularly boarding with us after her board and train. Tequila has a condition where her body doesn't absorb protein like it should, so she's on an enzyme supplement to help her process and absorb food correctly. Recently we had observed her weight dropping each visit. The last time she boarded with us, she was at an alarming weight, and we knew we had to intervene. We spoke to the owners who are going through a divorce and the dog is back and forth between the homes. The situation is complicated, however it is very apparent this dog was not getting the medication she needs, and was pounds away from an emergency vet visit. We ultimately decided to get involved and take ownership of the dog so we could give her the proper care she needs. Tequila has been with us for several weeks now and is finally getting back to a healthy weight, slowly but surely. With that being said, we are looking for a very specific home for her.

We assume she's a gsd mix, possibly collie and or husky

We had a great time at the Utah Dog Day+Car Show event this weekend! We teamed up with Phantom Fabrication who makes amazing crate fans, which are a huge part of our summer activities. Saw some old clients, met some new clients, and we saw so many beautiful dogs! We also had almost our entire team out to put on a live bite work demo! Animal control asked to suit up, he had previous experience and wanted to indulge in the bitey games, so we got him hooked up! We would love to continue doing this event, it was a great turn out, so many of our lovely friends who are in the pet industry had vendor booths, it was nice to see everyone there supporting one another and just enjoying the dogs and the day, great event!
