🍂🐾 **FALL PET DO’S & DON’TS** 🐾🍂

Fall is here! Cooler weather means more walks, outdoor adventures, and unfortunately… a few seasonal hazards for our pets. Here are some quick reminders to keep those furry family members safe:

🍁 **DO:**
✔️ Keep up with regular nail trims — cooler weather doesn’t mean those nails stop growing!
✔️ Check your pet’s paws after walks for sticks, burrs, leaves, and anything stuck between their toes.
✔️ Keep fresh water available, even on cooler days.
✔️ Watch for mushrooms, acorns, and other things your pet may try to eat outside.
✔️ Keep pets away from antifreeze — even a small amount can be extremely dangerous.
✔️ Make sure pets are visible during those darker fall evenings with reflective collars, lights, or tags.
✔️ Keep up with flea and tick prevention — they can still be active during fall!

🚫 **DON’T:**
❌ Let pets eat chocolate or candy from Halloween treats.
❌ Leave candles or decorations where curious paws can reach them.
❌ Assume cooler weather means fleas and ticks are gone.
❌ Let pets chew on fallen acorns or unknown plants.
❌ Forget about paw and nail care just because summer is over.
