A Farm Dog With New Boundaries!

Wazie lives on a working horse farm, where chasing cars, reacting to horses, and unreliable recall created some serious challenges. Through clearer communication, established boundaries, and focused obedience training, she learned how to better respond to her handler.

The highlight? Her entire training turnover was completed 100% off leash!

Ridgeside K9 Harrisonburg proudly helps dog owners throughout Luray, Stanley, Rileyville, and Springfield build obedience skills for their individual lifestyles.

Financing is available for all training programs. Call or text to get started with a free training consultation.

From Dreaded Walks To Side-By-Side Jogs!

Finn was a fantastic cuddler indoors, but his reactivity toward approaching dogs and people made outdoor walks a challenge. After three weeks of our board and train program, he learned better leash manners, calmer responses, and improved obedience.

His owner's first update? She was thrilled to finally enjoy jogging with Finn right beside her!

Ridgeside K9 Harrisonburg proudly helps families throughout Downtown Harrisonburg, Purcell Park, the JMU area, and Old Town overcome challenging behaviors.

Full Speed Ahead? Not Anymore!

Loki the Labradoodle came to us with endless energy, few boundaries, and a habit of ignoring commands. During his three-week board and train program, he learned the importance of structure, impulse control, and responding when called.

Now this handsome dog is calmer, easier to manage, and better at listening to his family!

As a veteran-owned dog training business, we're proud to serve the JMU area, Downtown Harrisonburg, and Harmony Heights.

Even The Trash Needed Boundaries!

Max came to us with some important skills to develop. Our primary goals were neutrality, impulse control, and obedience, but one challenge needed particular attention: resource guarding around trash and other items he shouldn't have.

During his training, we focused on establishing clear boundaries and a reliable response to his trained tone cue. This gave Max more consistent expectations and a foundation for making better choices when temptation was right in front of him.

At Ridgeside K9 Harrisonburg, we help dog owners throughout Harrisonburg, Downtown Harrisonburg, Park View, and the JMU area address challenging behaviors with training tailored to their dogs.

Big changes start with one call. Reach out to us today!

Belle Had Plenty Of Energy, But No Rulebook!

Little Miss Belle, a high-drive Labrador, arrived with endless enthusiasm and little understanding of boundaries. Through puppy training, she learned how to channel her energy, understand expectations, and practice neutrality during new experiences.

Best of all, Belle discovered that learning can be just as exciting as playing!

At Ridgeside K9 Harrisonburg, we're proud to help puppy owners throughout Springfield, Hamburg, Alma, and Marksville establish good habits early.
