Dogs allergic to fleas are actually allergic to the flea's saliva. Most flea products kill the flea after the bite. Proper exercise plays a vital role in pet health, but inappropriate exercise can lead to serious injury or, as in heat stroke, life-threatening illness.

Pets love to play and don’t always know their limits, so it’s up to you to set firm boundaries on what’s safe and what’s not. This includes AVOIDING:

🚫 Exercise during inclement or extreme weather (including heat)
🚫 Slippery surfaces
🚫 Overexertion (stop before your pet gets tired)
🚫 “Weekend warrior” syndrome (moderate, consistent exercise is best)

Despite your best efforts, accidents sometimes happen. If you notice your pet is painful or behaving abnormally, contact your veterinarian for guidance.
