Hello my friends. Here's the low down on how to enroll for my last therapy dog class starting on September 12th at 3. When that class fills, we'll start one at 4 the same day. The tuition is $175 and your spot is reserved when I receive payment. Please put your name and your dog's name on your payment so I know who paid. I accept Paypal and Venmo. Your dog will have an easier time if they are skilled in heel walk, stay, and leave it, particularly leave it. Payment details are in the comments.

“Let us take a knife / And cut the world in two- / And see what worms are eating / At the rind.”
— Langston Hughes
Tired
by Langston Hughes

I am so tired of waiting,
Aren't you,
For the world to become good
And beautiful and kind?
Let us take a knife
And cut the world in two-
And see what worms are eating
At the rind.
This poem appeared in Good Morning, Revolution: Uncollected Social Protest Writings by Langston Hughes, published by Lawrence Hill, 1973. Shared here with deep gratitude.

In Trump's America, they'll send ICE to a polling place over an Instagram post.
That's exactly what happened to last Tuesday in Syracuse. She was working the polls. Agents showed up, demanded she delete a post calling for an ICE agent to be charged, and tried to make her sign a form admitting she broke the law.
She refused. Wouldn't sign. Won't delete. That's courage.
This is the playbook: scare one of us into silence so the rest of us shut up. It only works if we let it.
Our right to speak and to hold our government accountable is in the Constitution — and it's only as strong as our willingness to use it.
