Theo a Friesian/Andalusian cross with a solid build and a personality that makes him hard not to notice!
He is the type of horse that enjoys having a job and being around people. He’s friendly, easy to catch, and has a “get it done” attitude both on the ground and under saddle. He has been ridden out alone as well as in groups and has spent plenty of time on trail rides, including rides around the Buffalo National River.
He has been exposed to ATVs, dirt bikes, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and a parade. He is not a spooky horse but he does have big energy so a strong intermediate/experienced rider recommended.
Theo has a lot of buttons and loves to work. He sidepasses both directions, backs, picks you up to mount, leg yields, pivots forehands and hindquarters, and has good ground manners. He stands to saddle and bridle, picks up all four feet for the farrier, loads and backs out of the trailer, and is comfortable with people. He has given pony rides to children and will ride ba****ck.
Theo has a lot of go when asked, and would excel at dressage, working equitation, etc... He is a quick learner and wants to please.
Theo has the versatility to go in a lot of different directions. He could make a fantastic trail partner, ranch horse, sport horse, parade horse, jumping prospect, dressage mount, or simply a fun all-around riding horse.
Theo is looking for someone who will appreciate his willing personality, athletic ability, versatility and give him a job you can enjoy together.
If you’re looking for a big, handsome gelding with a smart mind, big energy and the ability to do a little bit of everything, Theo deserves a look. ❤️
