Reminder ...during these horribly hot temperatures—
-make sure your pet has plenty of cold water
-don’t keep them out for longer than needed for short walks
-find shady areas if they need to be outdoors
-stay off hot black pavements which can burn their pads 😞
-try and keep indoors in the A/C as much as possible.

To everyone who owns a pet...just because the weather says it’ll be in the low 80’s with low humidity...please do not forget about the inside temperature of your home! I went to three homes this morning and it felt like a sauna 🧖‍♀️ inside. It doesn’t help that we just came out of a heat wave with high humidity so the air when the A/C is turned off becomes stuffy, stagnant and very warm!!!!

To all the dog owners who want their dogs to run and invested in an invisible fence!!! I implore you to remove collars when dogs are inside and sleeping!!! I have witnessed a few horror stories of prongs cutting through dogs necks and major surgery is needed. Not to mention the horrible pain they are in!!! Let’s remember to be compassionate and considerate of our loyal friends. Thank you. 🐶💕🌈🦴
