We recently received this pupdate about Ember's sister, Kaia, from Pennsylvania! ๐Ÿป๐Ÿพ

"Kaia alerted us this morning of our visitor! That bear was at our place two weeks ago and took down our bird feeders. We were playing ball in the living room and all at once she dropped the ball and ran to the window started growling, I told her to quit growling at the deer and went to look and the bear was just sitting in our yard. Of course Dixie had to look and got in on the action. lol

One of my favorite parts of preparing for a litter is making each pup a blanket. โค๏ธ

I just finished making blankets for our upcoming Rayne x Steele litter. And while they may look simple, they serve such an important purpose in our program.

First, as the puppies grow, the braided tassles become safe little teething and tug items while they begin exploring the world with their land shark teeth. ๐Ÿฆˆ

Later, the blankets help make crate time feel cozy and familiar.

The most meaningful part comes on 'gotcha day'. When they become a comfort item that goes home with them, carrying the familiar scent of mama, siblings, and their puppy room. ๐Ÿฅน

I really do think it helps make those first few nights easier when everything else in their world has changed. ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿพ
