It's been a while since I posted this - so here it is again. This will answer most of the questions you want to ask...

I have been getting a ton of messages all asking the same things, so here are the answers:

Yes, I am still breeding. It is on a limited scale and I do not have any kits available at this time.

I am located in western Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh.

No, I do not ship. Nor will I sell breeding stock to anyone but the limited number of breeders I already work with.

Pricing varies between litters but will be in the hundreds. If you can't afford to buy one of my babies at that price, you can't afford to take care of them properly. No, I do not discount.

No, I cannot predict gender or color of any kits born exactly, and I will not promise any kit to anyone prematurely.

No, I will not place any kits before ten weeks of age, don't bother asking. They need that time with their mother and siblings to learn how to be ferrets.

No, I do not place older ferrets. My ferrets are my pets before they are breeding animals.

Sadly, our Sansa was due this past weekend, but she had a false pregnancy and no babies. Fingers crossed for better results as the breeding season goes forward. Watch this page for updates.

I know that a lot of people have been watching and waiting eagerly. Sadly, I have to post that both Xena and Gudrun had false pregnancies, and we have no kits.

I know it has been a long time since I posted. Sorry about that! I am about to post pictures of a few still available kits from this year. There are three that I still don’t have current pictures of and I will try to get those this weekend.

Something very important to think about. It is July now. Soon people in your neighborhood will be setting off fireworks and firecrackers, if they haven't already started. Those are scary. Please keep your pets inside. This is a very dangerous time, as many become frightened and run away, then get lost.
