Dr Chandler treated our Harrisburg team to Subway this week, Debbie's Oscar the Grouch pumpkin (not pictured but see Mondays post) won the contest, Vet Assistant Mac was appreciating the appreciation and LoMare was the ferret killer in the CLUE game!! They have been trying to figure it out all week, putting each other through interrogations.

Continuing Education in Action! 🐾❤️

Today, Gabby, our Registered Veterinary Technicians at Harrisburg Animal Hospital, led a Lunch & Learn for our HAH team focused on canine CPR! 🐶

When a dog's heart stops or they stop breathing, every second counts. Knowing how to quickly recognize cardiac arrest, perform effective chest compressions, and respond as a team can make a lifesaving difference.

The biggest takeaway? In an emergency, preparation saves precious seconds, and those seconds can save lives. ❤️

A huge thank you to Gabby for sharing her knowledge and helping our team strengthen the skills, confidence, and teamwork needed to give our patients the best possible chance when it matters most! 🐾💙💚

We’re kicking off National Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week! 💙💚

While this week recognizes our amazing veterinary technicians, we’re celebrating our entire staff at both hospitals!

☕ Cabarrus Animal Hospital started the week with a visit from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck!

🎃 Harrisburg Animal Hospital is getting into the Halloween spirit with their annual pumpkin decorating contest and a little mystery! The staff is playing a game of CLUE to solve the “murder” of one of our newest residents, Tortellini the ferret! 🔎

Don't worry — no actual ferrets were harmed in the making of this mystery! 😂

We're looking forward to a fun week celebrating the people who keep our hospitals running and provide such wonderful care to our patients!

🐾 Happy National Pug Day!
Paul, who belongs to our veterinary assistant Sasha, is helping us celebrate! Judging by this picture, he's taking his toy-testing responsibilities very seriously. 😂
A few fun facts about pugs: 🐶 Pugs originated in China over 2,000 years ago and were bred to be companions to royalty.
🐶 A group of pugs is called a grumble!
🐶 Their signature curly tails can sometimes form a double curl, which is considered especially desirable in the breed.
🐶 Despite their small size, pugs have big personalities and are known for being affectionate, playful, and a little mischievous.
Happy National Pug Day to Paul and all the other lovable little grumblers out there! ❤️

❤️ A big milestone for Marlow! ❤️
Marlow has officially completed heartworm treatment, and we think that deserves a little celebration! 🎉🐾
It's been a long road, but this sweet face made it to the finish line! We're so proud of you, Marlow! ❤️

Wanda would like it noted that she did NOT consent to this pedicure. 😂💅

Grace handled the pedicure while Dr. Paramore provided a "hug" and some much-needed moral support.

Wanda's review: ⭐⭐⭐
Hoomans frendlee. Nail surrvis quesshunible. Wud hav perferred snakks.

What kind of review would your pet leave us if they could?

Harrisburg Animal Hospital has two new residents. 🤎

Linguine & Tortellini have officially moved in, and Dr. Robinson seems pretty happy with the new tenants.

Something tells us these two are going to be running the place in no time. 😂

Honey came in for her first puppy visit with Dr. Conrad.
Dr. Kidwell came in to see Honey. 😂

Every now and then, we let our doctors stop what they're doing and pretend their job really is just playing with puppies and kittens all day.

Dr. Kidwell may have taken that privilege a little too seriously. We're not entirely sure Honey's family is getting her back.

(Don't worry, we eventually got Dr. Kidwell back to her regularly scheduled duties)
