I have been pet sitting for over 20 years, the last 4 of them being an official business. I have encountered the best clients and cared for even better pets! This business has served it purpose - giving me freedom, flexibility and the mental clarity I needed for so long. 🐾
But, if I can be completely transparent, as the hours get longer and the weeks go by without a day off, I have become exhausted. Yes, the job itself is easy but the schedule is starting to affect me and my family. I’m in need of a normal schedule that fits me and my family’s needs. I am missing SO much - from family dinners, softball games and cheer competitions, birthdays and events.. the list goes on and on. 🥲
I am beyond thankful for the success that this business has given me and am excited that there’s been an uprise in the industry - making me thankful I will not leave anyone hanging as I will help you find a new pet sitter if need be 🫶🏼
Effective September 5th, I will no longer be available for pet sitting services. Thank you so much to everyone that has trusted me with their fur babies over the years. It’s been a great run, (or should I say walk 😉)- but it’s time to hang up the leashes. 🦮🐕🦺
