Welcome to Dog Days Walks for Choctaw and Harrah!
This page is where I will be posting all scheduling and availability. I often get my work schedule between Wednesday and Friday every week, so I will be putting out the schedule and the available times once I get the info from my work. Below will be some basic information regarding prices, times for walks, and also answering some simple questions.
Prices per dog {For any extra dog, the dog with the highest price will come half off}
Small dogs {5 pounds or less to 25 pounds}- $8 for one hour $4 for 1/2 hour
Medium dogs {26 pounds to 50 pounds}- $12 for one hour $6 for 1/2 hour
Large dogs {51 pounds to 95 pounds}- $15 for one hour $7.50 for 1/2 hour
Extra Large dogs {96+ pounds}- $22 for one hour $11 for 1/2 hour
Dogs located in Choctaw will be taken to the Choctaw Creek Park for their walks, Dogs located in Harrah will be taken to the Harrah Park for their walks
Walk times- 8 am to 9 am, 9:30 am to 10:30 am, 11 am to 12 pm, 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm {since my hours end at 1, I want time to be able to drop all dogs back home before my hours end, which is why the last time slot is only a half hour}
Days available for walks- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday {Some weeks will have more days or more availabilities, but holidays will be shortened hours}
Questions-
Q: Why are extra large dogs a larger jump in price than the other sizes?
A: I am 4'10 and 115 pounds, most extra large sized dogs will be either the same weight or higher weight than me, making them the hardest to physically control.
Q: Do you do specialized times?
A: For dogs that are reactive to other dogs, or dogs that need special treatment {ie. seizures, disability, etc} I will be opening Tuesdays and Thursdays up to them. If you would like your dog to have a specialized spot during my usual business hours, please contact me directly and I will give you available times that I can block out for your dog to be the only one.
Q: Do you do training?
A: As I am not a licensed trainer, and I've only done training for my own dogs, I can only help with basic training. Which means I can teach sit, stay, lay down, shake, and leash training. Anything outside of that I do not feel comfortable with, so I will not be doing anything outside of that for the time being.
Q: Will I have to provide you with my own supplies?
A: I will have supplies for each dog including a leash, a harness, a water bowl, and treats. If you would like to provide me with your own supplies, that is perfectly fine, and I will make sure only your dog uses it.
Q: What treats do you have?
A: I will have 5 different types of treats for each dog. When scheduling and learning about your dog, I will give you the treat options and you can choose between them and decide which one you would like for your dog. If you choose to use your own treats, I will ask that they be put in a bag with your dogs name on them so that I do not risk a possible mix up.
Q: Do you do dog sitting?
A: I will begin giving the option for dog sitting in Spring of 2025, as of right now I only do walks. All dog sitting will be done at the owners house, as my house can not be used for dog sitting. {We own many dogs, and some of them are not welcoming to new dogs, and I do not wish for anything to happen}
Q: My dog is overweight and is listed as being in the medium dogs but they are a small dog, what does this mean?
A: If your dog is overweight and has been put into a different level but I can clearly tell it is a small sized dog, I will only charge for the small size.
Q: How do payments work?
A: I take my payments on either cashapp, paypal, or in cash, I do not use venmo or zelle.
