What a wonderful SSMHA Summer Showcase! 🌟

We are so incredibly proud of our Blackwelder Farms riders and the way they showed up all week - with grit, grace, determination, and heart. The Oklahoma heat certainly brought an extra challenge, but our riders continued to rise to the occasion and give their very best every time they entered the ring. ☀️🐴

Beyond the ribbons and results, it’s the horsemanship, sportsmanship, perseverance, and support of one another that make us especially proud. Watching our riders work hard, cheer each other on, and continue pushing forward - even when the conditions were tough - is what it’s all about.

Congratulations to all of our riders on a fantastic week! We are proud to call you ours and can’t wait to see what’s next. ❤️

A huge thank-you to our incredible horses, families, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the week such a success.

Now… somebody please turn down the thermostat before the next show! 🥵😂

Blackwelder Farms - proud of our people, proud of our horses, and proud of the way we show up. 🖤

Many heartfelt thanks to Mallory and Giovanni Sciaraffa, and clients for their very generous sponsorship of the Sooner State Summer Showcase. Blackwelder Farm supports the show in so many ways and we really appreciate them. Thank you!

We are thrilled to announce the sale of EKL Town Finals GCH as he makes his way to Blackwelder Farms in Harrah, OK! Fresh off a World Title, Matty is truly one in a million, and we’re so excited to see him continue his walk-trot career with a new rider. Wishing you all the best with this very special horse — he’s sure to keep making dreams come true! 💙❤️💛

🚨 NEW WEBSITE WHO DIS? 🚨
Big things are happening at Blackwelder Farms, and we’re not horsin’ around. 🐎💻

We just launched our brand new website — it’s shiny, it’s useful, and it has a lot of pictures of very good horses.
👉 blackwelderfarmsok.com

AND we’ve got a new Academy Instructor in the barn — Loren Irwin! 🙌 She’s part horse girl, part kindergarten teacher, and 100% ready to help riders of all ages saddle up and shine. If you’ve got a kiddo (or a kid-at-heart) who’s itching to ride, she’s your gal.

Click the link, check us out, and come say hi — the horses already like Loren, and we think you will too. 😄

Beyond proud of every one of these horse and rider combos this week at the Route 66 show! We all know how much work goes in behind the scenes and at home to make all of this possible. So proud of all of our riders and the dedication to this sport in and out of the ring.
Thank you to the show committee for such a well run show. I couldn’t do this without the wonderful team behind me with Emily Cleland and Lizeth Mendoza, and a special shout out to Holly Hall for keeping the farm running smoothly in our absence ♥️
