Last weekend at market, I found this little anole on one of my trays of micro greens. The trays are bread crates that are stored on the back porch, which is covered in these little lizards so I figured he had hitched a ride all the way to market on the bread tray. I kept him safe and returned them home at the end of market. Thursday while driving my delivery route I look down and find him in my cupholder again. He probably came in on one of the bread crates that I used to transport. I got him home and back to his area. Fast forward to this Saturday. I load up at 5 AM. Go to market at the end of market I get in the van to drive home and find him sitting on the seat yet again he is now been to market twice and delivery route once and will again be returned home to the back porch I think he’s like a dog that likes to ride.

What’s this you say? It’s 4.5” of rain since we parked the cart on Friday. What drought? We lost a couple beds due to ground saturation. Will start over when they dry.

Doing the lords work on our poblanos. The increase in diversity of the insect population on the farm has grown exponentially. What began as a rotting cutover has become a thriving farm exploding not only with bounty but with life.
