❤️🐾 TATOR TOT HAS BEEN FOUND! SAFE & HOME! 🐾❤️
16 years old. A fragile little body. A worried mom. And a race against time.
Tator Tot, a 16-year-old Shih Tzu/Jack Russell mix, slipped away while her mom was having her car repaired by a neighbor on Sunday. With heart disease, kidney failure, and medication she depends on, every hour mattered.
Her mom reached out to us, overwhelmed with worry. She explained the resources she had already used in her efforts to locate Tator Tot.
We provided coaching, guidance, and something equally important during such an emotional time — compassion, reassurance, and emotional support. Because when a beloved pet goes missing, families need more than a search plan. They need someone who understands what they’re going through.
As we prepared for Bob Swensen,K-9 Carly, K-9 Luna, Ryan O'Connor, and Bernie Hilditch to do a search ……… the pictures we had been hoping for arrived! ❤️
A little boy at a neighbor’s daycare had spotted Tator Tot down inside a window well!
TATOR TOT WAS FOUND! SAFE & GOING HOME! 🐾❤️
We are so grateful to that observant little boy and everyone who helped make this reunion possible!
🐾 A REMINDER TO ALL PET PARENTS
Nobody plans to lose a pet, but preparation matters.
🐾 Keep microchip information updated and have your veterinarian confirm the chip is readable.
🐾 Keep recent, clear, full-body photographs of your pet.
🐾 Immediately notify shelters, animal control, neighbors, and local veterinary offices. Distribute flyers.
🐾 Establish a safe return point with a feeding station when appropriate.
🐾 Research any lost-pet recovery company before hiring, and ask what the recovery plan will be after services are completed.
🐾When you reach out to us needing assistance the number to reach us at is 484-639-5298
We understand that these aren’t just pets. They’re family. ❤️
And sometimes, being there to listen, guide, and offer emotional support means just as much as the equipment we bring.
