That quote hit a little harder after the headlines recently.

A 41 year old husband. A father. A legendary competitor. One of the greats of his generation. And just like that, gone after suddenly falling ill. Itā€™s a reminder none of us are promised tomorrow no matter how talented, successful, strong, or influential we may be.

Life is fragile.

One day the schedule is full. The dreams are still in motion. The next race, next paycheck, next jackpot, next show, next weekend with the family all feels guaranteedā€¦ until it isnā€™t.

But this is also the beauty of faith.

Because while tomorrow on earth is never promised, eternity through Christ is.

One of the most powerful things about Kyle was often seeing him praying with his family beside the race car before competing. In a world chasing fame, pressure, and performance, he wasnā€™t ashamed of his faith. That matters. More than trophies. More than headlines. More than statistics ever will.

So let this be your reminder today:
Call the people you love.
Take the trip.
Say the prayer.
Start the business.
Enter the arena.
Forgive.
Show up anyway.
Dream bigger.

And most importantly, live in such a way that you might be the only Bible someone ever encounters.

The world does not just need more successful people.
It needs more people willing to live loudly for God through kindness, integrity, perseverance, compassion, and faith.

None of us know when our last lap is coming.

Seven stalls to clean this morning. Tony sprayed all the fields yesterday so all the horses are in. It was the first day without wind and a break in the rain. Boy we have needed the rain. And boy weā€™ve had the wind nearly every day. My problem is I hate rain and mud and absolutely become hateful. But Iā€™ve begged everyone to smack me if I complain about the rain. It would be so disrespectful to all the farmers I work with daily. So this morning to combat my hateful attitude, I played Agnus Dei, sung by Michael W. Smith, Mac Powell, and Steven Curtis Chapman. I used to play that song on a loop to go to sleep in the hardest time of my entire life. I donā€™t know why I was surprised when all the horses gravitated towards me and even leaned in harder to me as I cleaned each stall. What a blessing from God. They know who their Creator is.

Needless to say, the manure spreader was full from all the rain and I filled up 4 large muck buckets (thank God I havenā€™t ditched the ones with holes and missing handles) and I even filled up a 5 gallon bucket. I am thankful for a body that can still work and a barn full of horsesā€¦and a donkey. Have a blessed Sunday.

Having horses does NOT equal I have $$$ šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œšŸ˜‚ It all really just comes down to what you prioritize. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜œ i just chose horses over other things that add up and then disappear and I drive used cars/truck that donā€™t have payments. Seriouslyā€¦ Iā€™ve had my car 23 years now šŸ˜œ it may not be pretty anymore but it still goes from point A to B just fine! šŸ™Œ
