Ryan’s name just got a little longer, as he can now add a “CVT” at the end! Ryan has been spending the last two years going through veterinary technician school, on top of working full time. This last week he got to celebrate by passing his VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam), and is officially a certified veterinary technician. We are so impressed and proud of Ryan’s hard work and dedication 🙌🎉

We aren’t sure what Bear was seeing in his exam room, but I think we should all be very very afraid 😳😱 In reality, Bear is expressing signs of stress. Hiding and widened pupils are common things we see in our feline patients when they are nervous here at the vet! 🐈‍⬛

Ouch! This boy presented for limping and licking at his foot. After some injectable sedation and pain medication, we found an opening in his skin on the underside of his paw. With some exploring with a hemostat, we were able to pull this out of his foot! Some sort of grass seed/plant material. Epsom salt soaks, pain meds, and antibiotics helped him feel much better within a couple of days!
