Put on your bell bottoms and platform shoes, grab your magnifying glass and join us to catch a thief! One of the ponies has been up to no good and it’s up to you catch the culprit in this spy themed drill team performance. Join in our shenanigans during our open house on Saturday, December 12th.

A horseshow in a hurricane. It was a morning of wet britches, but the ladies of Legato put on their brave faces and fancy dancing shoes to rock the show at Blue Horse Farm. Decked out in pink to support breast cancer awareness, our gals not only looked spectacular, but performed beautifully in their tests as well.

Paige and Davis had their most composed warmup to date resulting in two lovely tests and well deserved ribbons.

Avery then piloted Mona (after her potty break - ifykyk 😂) in her second Intro B test besting her prior score by more than 10%. Wowza!

Abigail followed demonstrating a much more accurate test and a lovely seat that earned some well deserved compliments from the judge. The maturity is starting to show and Intro C is next on the horizon for this duo.

Kate kept the good times rolling in her first Intro C test on Davis maintaining composure during the worst of this mornings storms. The mother-daughter Intro C battle is shaping up to be a good one for our final Fall show of the season.

Makenna brought it home for the Legato Team with the final test of the day. She may have been a wee bit chilly, but put on a brave face and again rode a solid intro B test showing much more confidence in her test riding. You go girl!

Thanks to all of our riders and their families for another successful show. Until next time…

A big horse entertaining a young rider with her first try at Spanish walk. Well done Makenna on the very good boy, Destrier.

My goodness they grow up quickly! From her very first lesson on Iris to forming her new partnership with Mona, Makenna has come a very long way on her horsemanship journey.

Pumpkin has reached an all new low. It was a hostage situation this morning with Cheri’s pocketbook. Fortunately a few cat snacks were all the ransom required to release the beast. Guard your car keys and your friends, Pumpkin is on a diet and he’s not adverse to hostile tactics for a few extra cookies.

He was tall and made to float upon water. She was strong and born to fly. Though an unlikely pair, can they find a path together or forever be apart?

Allison and Amber will present this Pas de Deux during our Open House on Saturday, December 12th. Hope to see you there!

Some horses like to take a quick snooze on the balance pads, but Owen likes to get his groove on and sway.

Make a “Wish Upon a Star” with the ladies of Legato and their celestial steeds.

Starring Brenda, Jen, Pam and Stephanie along with their equine partners Chief, Owen, Davis and Destrier.

We’ve been hard at work practicing the fancy prancing for the upcoming drill team performances.

Looking forward to their debut during our Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 12th.
