Any Tennessee friends please keep an eye out! And all please keep these pups in your thoughts ❤️

As a side note, we do not have details about why or how this breeder was targeted. But incidents like these are just one of the reasons breeders are becoming more and more hesitant to let potential owners come to their homes. Especially before puppies are ready to get picked up. Please keep that in mind when looking for a breeder and talking to breeders. Just because a breeder doesn’t allow you to come to their home right away is not a red flag. They may be looking out for the best interest of their puppies.

This isn’t something we normally do, but this needs to be shared far and wide …..😣

I completely forgot to post Classy’s win from last weekend!! Classy won the Terrier beginner puppy group today, her first show at just 4 months old! I love how she is turning out!

This popped up in my memories today and stopped me in my tracks. 💜

That's me and Bella, my English springer spaniel, winning Best in Junior Showmanship at the Alamance Kennel Club — September 2011, fifteen years ago. Junior showmanship is where so many of us got our start: the early mornings, the butterflies, and the dogs who taught us more than any textbook ever could.

Speaking of boys…. Nixon’s son Woody is currently the NUMBER ONE Russell Terrier in the country for all breed points!

Woody was not bred by us but this is such an accomplishment for Nixon as a stud dog and I’m so proud I had to share!

For a fun back story: a few years ago Jen called and asked if I had any Russell puppies. She told me who was looking, for a lovely couple that had known Jen’s mom since college. And when I was in Belton showing with them they invited us to their home and were incredible people. I told Jen I did not have any puppies but Nixon had a litter on the ground. Jen told me they just want a pet but might dabble in some shows. Well a couple years later some shows turned into the #1 dog 🤣

Dinero also made me proud this week! On Friday, he placed second in a competitive Open dog class filled with beautiful dogs from around the world. On Sunday, he won his sweepstakes class.

We feed mostly Wellness to the Russells and Purina Pro Plan for the PBGVs but also rotate this food in sometimes as well! Really great deal!
