Respectfully, but I said what I said!
We are human! We get hurt, we get sick!
We get tired, we get burned out! However, we still show up most days even when we simply don’t feel like it. We put smiles on our faces, we remove anger or hurt from our hearts & we come to work to safely & effectively service your pets.
Myself as a groomer, I service all pets. From really calm, to really aggressive. From young to old. From predictable, to not so predictable at all. So give me grace! Give us all grace.
When you decide to go to a salon where there is only one groomer, there is a price you might have to pay as well. Your groomer may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment at the last minute because it’s life & things happen. This is why I give grace to my pet parents as well sometimes because it’s needed.
I’m here to say as a groomer, we know what we signed up for. We know what the job entails. You’re bound to get bit, you’re bound to get scratched. Dealing with people who have zero compassion, zero concern tho is not what I signed up for.
A lot of groomers don’t stop grooming because of your pets behavior. They stop grooming because of the behavior of the pet parents. Just saying!
