I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered help, checked on us, shared information, or simply kept our family in your thoughts. ❤️
Unfortunately, what we are facing right now is not something that depends on the kindness or help of individual people, as much as I wish it were. But please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Knowing that people care means more than I can explain.

I also want to clarify that this is not about any health issue.

It is about the last four years of our lives. Four years ago, we lost almost everything and had to leave the life we knew behind. Since then, we have worked incredibly hard to rebuild our life from zero -to create a home, stability for our children, our work, and a future.

Starting from zero again is actually not what scares me the most. We have already done that once, and I know we can survive difficult things.

What scares me the most is losing my cats.

Four years ago, when we had to leave Ukraine, I already went through the pain of losing them and leaving behind everything I had built with my cattery. Rebuilding Felissimo here has been such a huge part of rebuilding myself and our life.
I am simply not ready to go through that loss again.

So for now, please just keep us in your thoughts. ❤️ And thank you, truly, to every person who has reached out with kindness and concern. I may not always have the time or emotional strength to respond to everyone individually, but I see your messages, and I appreciate every single one.

A little explanation for my “online death” lately… ❤️

First, thank you so much to everyone who has noticed my absence and reached out to check on me. I truly appreciate it.
Right now, my family needs almost all of my time and attention. We’re going through a difficult and uncertain period that requires us to spend a lot of time away from home, and unfortunately, much of it is simply outside of my control. For now, my priority has to be my family.
As for my cats and Felissimo family — you are absolutely still important to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding. ❤️ Everyone who is currently waiting for kitten updates will receive them today.
If you’re new to our page and have sent me a message or inquiry that was left unanswered, please don’t be shy about reaching out again. Some messages may have gotten lost in the chaos of the last few weeks, and I promise it wasn’t intentional.
Thank you for giving me a little grace while I take care of what needs my attention most right now.
Wishing all of you **peace of mind, peace in your homes, and peace in our world.** ❤️

🐾 One piece of advice I wish every pet owner would seriously consider... Get pet insurance.

Saturday , one of my kitten families shared a story that has been sitting deeply in my heart and mind.
Their Maine C**n had just turned 2 years old when she suddenly stopped eating and had to be rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital. Imaging showed what appeared to be an intestinal blockage. Before the doctors even knew whether emergency surgery would be needed, her owner was asked to leave a $6,000 deposit, with the possibility that surgery could cost $12,000–15,000.
Without hesitation, her dad said, "I don't care how much it costs. Do everything you have to do to save her."
Thankfully, it wasn't a foreign object. It was severe inflammation that responded to treatment, and she made a full recovery. ❤️
She is incredibly lucky to have a dad who was ready to spend his very last penny to save her life.

As a breeder, stories like this stay with me. One of my biggest fears has always been that one of my babies could need emergency care and a loving family might be forced to make decisions based on finances instead of medicine. None of us ever want to be in that position.

That's why I encourage every new and current pet owner to seriously consider pet insurance while your pet is still young and healthy. Yes, it's another monthly expense, but it can provide something priceless—peace of mind.
When an emergency happens, your first thought should be:
"What does my pet need?"
—not—
"How am I going to pay for this?"
Every insurance company is different, so take the time to compare coverage, deductibles, waiting periods, reimbursement rates, and exclusions before you ever need to use it.

💬 I'd love to hear from our families .
If you have pet insurance that you've actually used and would confidently recommend, please share the company and your experience in the comments. Real-life recommendations are so much more valuable than advertisements, and your advice may help another family prepare before an emergency happens.

Hug your furry family members a little tighter today. They give us their whole hearts, and they deserve to know we'll do everything we can for them. ❤️
